Wisdom teeth extraction

Generally, the mouth is very small. For about twenty-eight teeth, we’ve got space. That’s the number we have until we get the third molar. You may claim that they are extra dentitions that do not really serve a function.

When you’re around 18, the wisdom teeth should arrive. Before you turn 25, they are usually all there. When they start to develop, you should expect some pain.In terms of the direction of development and structure, wisdom teeth are considered to be troublesome.

Reasons for wisdom tooth extraction

There are five main indications for extraction:

the tooth is impacted,
the growth of the tooth is causing crowding,
there is no room for the tooth,
caries or gum disease are present (it’s hard to clean the area), or
the tooth is growing at a wrong angle.

Eventually, about 85 percent of all wisdom teeth would have to be removed. Unfortunately, you can’t do anything about it, especially if you have already begun to experience pain in your wisdom teeth. What’s more, the older you are, the harder it will be to take them away. Your best bet is to get it done as soon as you can.

If you don’t have them removed you can possibly expect:

damage of neighboring gums, teeth, and bone
bad breath or bad taste,
cysts, especially with impacted teeth, and
considerable swelling, tenderness, and pain,
