What is the Procedure?
The dental extraction procedure is performed under local anaesthetic. Your dentist will first test for the numbness being effective.
Your dentist will then explain any risks or complications associated with the particular tooth removal
Then the tooth is gently wiggled out.
Your dentist will give you the aftercare instruction to follow.
What is expected after the Procedure?
Some tenderness after the procedure is expected and is normal, easily managed by taking the over the counter pain medications.
Some bleeding and swelling is expected too. If you have any confusions or issues, contact our dental practice
Using icepacks after the procedure is recommended it helps with the inflammation and bleeding.
When can you resume Work?
After a simple extraction procedure one is normally fit to resume work the next day. Your dentist can sometimes advise you more rest and can also write you a medical certificate for it.
